Short note server NS20 is one receives and dispatches the short news through the ethernet the server. NS20 relies on the GSM network to receive and dispatch the short information, may use in the enterprise short note platform. It uses a 10Base-T ethernet connection linked network; A RS-232 serial port uses for to establish the correspondence parameter; A GSM module uses for to receive and dispatch the short news. NS20 has two kind of network service way receiving and dispatching short note: UDP and TCP, may according to need to carry on the choice.

1.4 exterior connection

1.4.1 power sources

1.4.2 indicating lamps

The indicating lamp has 5, the significance respectively is:
· GSM signal indicating lamp. When the GSM network is normal, when SIM card correct insertion, indicating lamp orderly twinkle; When the SIM card has not inserted, the indicating lamp is often bright.
· LINK network connections indicating lamp. When in short note server correct turning on network, the indicating lamp is bright, otherwise is not bright.
· TX short note transmission indicating lamp. When the short note transmits is successful, the indicating lamp glitters.
· The RX short note arrives at the indicating lamp. When receives the short note, the indicating lamp glitters.
· PWR power light. The power source is normal when the lamp is bright.

1.4.3 antennas

1.4.5 RJ45

2 operating guides

before 2.1 disposition preparatory works

Short note server NS20 is disposes the parameter through the serial port read-write, therefore, the user may use under the corresponding operating system's serial port tool to carry on the disposition. In order to carry on the disposition and the test, the user computer leaves leeway an idle serial port at least, but should also install the network card and dispose the good network environment, if must connect many short note server equipment, then also needs the network switchboard or HUB.
